2. Vehicle Class and Scrutineering.
2.1 Classes:-
Up to 2000cc
2000 to 3000cc (Petrol)
2000 to 3000cc (Diesel)
Above 3000cc
Portal Axles
Note : The organizer reserves the right to amalgamate classes when the situation warrants. All classes will qualify for the Overall Ranking (winners).
2.2 Vehicles and all equipment are required to be available for inspection (Scrutineering) at least 2 days prior to the start. A team representative must be present during these checks.
2.3 Vehicle must be presented in a ready to start condition including all compulsory equipment, Drivers License's, Insurance Papers, Registration Papers and any others, if required.
2.4 Vehicles that fail the inspection process will render the entrant liable for exclusion. A second and final inspection at a later time may be carried out. Vehicles must pass the second process, or they may be excluded from starting the event.
2.5 All competitors, including co-drivers must have a valid MAM competition license (Clubman Solo-Start) as a minimum. License forms are available at Registration or Scrutineering and the license will be valid immediately upon completion of the form. The license is from December 2008 to December 2009. It includes personal accident insurance with a cover of RM50,000. The cost of the license is RM70.00.
